happy whatever you want to call it day. i’m not religious nor am i a settler, so this day is just the day after eating for me. our family historically has always just gotten together for a food fest pig out on the sunday (yesterday) and then we spend the monday sleeping, shitting and otherwise recovering. also football weekend but my friends and family hate when i call it that.
also, since i’m the best cook in our family social circle, i always do all the cooking and yesterday i made a crepes and pancake brunch for 8 people at noon, then a huge turkey etc dinner for the same group in the evening, so i was in the kitchen cooking all day. thus i was where most of you guys think i really belong instead of on here lol.

i wish some of you folks lived near me because i’d host a ridiculous grey cup or super bowl party with you.

The CFL should've had a double header for Thanksgiving Day. Another reason for a 10th CFL team
there was an NFL game last night (monday). the CFL classically does not schedule games at same time. they also had a double header on saturday.
I think there would been time between the two games for another CFL game.
that’s just too many games in one day after the craziness that is NFL sunday.
Not for me.
But I don't watch NFL anymore.
yea i go through spells of NFL bingeing and Jon got me all back into it again so i blame him lol
I've come to prefer NFL for the first time in my life.
I watched a game a couple years ago, while at a social gathering. And it was excellent. But there are just so many teams and I don't want to open the door to getting too into it again. I stopped watching about 20 years ago when I moved overseas. But in the 80s and 90s I watched so much of just about every sport.
The NFL Thanksgiving is in November
I would only think that because you say YOU are the best cook in the family. That where we belong. Personally I do not allow helpers in my kitchen that cannot cook. They cannot be trusted can they. Rule your kitchen with the iron fist and transgressors at the table where they belong
