Happy New Year everyone.
If you could have one Ticat related New Year’s resolution for a player, coach, management, or even yourself what would it be?
I was going to go with no more game day pizza slices. They are the worst.
We call them the cement mixers.
But
I will go with no more poorly timed dropsies for Mr Tim White.
How about let’s start the season at game # 1 being competitive and on a winning note instead of waiting for game # 11 for a change . These slow starts to the season have simply got to stop .
Let’s not be down by 21-points before the end of the first quarter.
Let’s sign Beard back.
Let’s have a defense that can make plays and get turnovers.
Let’s be at least 3-3 after 6 games.
Let’s actually publish the schedule so I can start to plan my summer.
Family healthy enough for me to go to games.
Have a defensive mentality that actually intimidates the opposing offense.
Lets win our first GC in twenty-five years.
Have a successful FA.

For the team: be competitive starting in June and not treating games before Labour Day as an extended preseason.
For myself: do a road trip and see a game in either Regina, Edmonton or Vancouver.
Having done all 3, I’d reco Regina if your priority is the football and Vancouver if it’s a vacation. Save Edmonton for last unless you’ve got family to visit there.
Resolution for the fans, try and be in your seats majority of the game and engaged with following rhe action on the field and not the concourse.
For the team, get larger hats in the gift shop so I get a few for my fat head!
