Nice Captain.

8) If that is the TiCat stamp honouring the 1972 Grey Cup game, then why do they have a picture of Danny Mac on it ???

Because Chuck Ealy refused to have his picture taken?

Nevermind the stamp, I was at an Avondale store that was selling miniature mailboxes that were actually stamp dispensers with the TiCat logo. They also had the stamps.

Danny's older than you think. He was our third-string QB back in '72.

The Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post have released combination commemorative team sets with both stamps and a coloured quarter.

The Mint also has issued a couple of other 100th Grey Cup coins, a Lucky Loonie and a silver dollar.

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE !!

Most of the stamps have a different event depicted in the background that is unrelated to the player in the foreground. It's not meant to be the same.

I've seen those mini-mailbox thingys with the Ticats logo on them at some of the Canada Post outlets also. I'm usually not one to collect tacky souvenir stuff, but, I must admit, the mini-mailbox/stamp dispenser idea is sort of neat. (probably because it's actually useful)
