I hope Milanovich uses that game as motivation. That team had the eye of the tiger in that Grey Cup. The 98 Eastern Final was a real beauty too!
HAM hasn’t lost an East Final at home in 44 years.
(Not counting the game 1 loss in 1986 East Final because it’s not the same thing)
Pretty sure he has been playing hurt and ironically Domagala was at The Redblacks game since he was chatting with Marc when I got a selfie with Marc post game.
That’s an impressive, and encouraging, stat!
It was only the 4th time, including 1950, '52, & '70, that happened in the club’s previous 20 seasons of finishing in first place. (That’s counting the times the club lost, at home, a playoff final game in which a victory would have put the team in the Grey Cup)
Looking that up, I noted something that seems to have gone by, this year, perhaps, unnoticed – This is the Tiger-Cats 75th season of play.
Is that including Covid season?
No. I chose my wording, carefully – “75th season of play.”
Amidst preparations for Saturday’s Eastern Final, the TiCats, today, signed a player to attend next year’s training camp. He’s 6’ 0" / 195 lb. AM DB Kendall Bohler, a Florida native who started his college playing career at Mercer U. in Georgia before transferring to Florida A&M, where he played CB '21 through ‘24. Undrafted, he attended a Denver Broncos’ rookie mini-camp in April / May this year.
We’re the underdogs . Embrace it. It’s not like you have a choice.
Half of the Tiger-Cats’ 10 Eastern Division all-stars have been named to the nation-wide team:
Only 2 birds, 1 ^&#@, and no 2colours.
This means nothing, its a fantasy team
Does this answer the question of who the league MVP will be?
The CFL seems to be pushing the Als and their QB hard on social media. I expect the refs will be very hard on the Cats come Saturday.
Good question on the MOP. It’s a toss-up between Mitchell and Rourke. I’m not sure when they vote (after Saturday?), but I’d bet the decision may be influenced by how the 2 QBs perform on Saturday.
The voting has already happened. It’s a regular season award.
On the 3DownNation podcast this week the 3 hosts talked about how they have already voted. 2 out of three admitted they voted for Rourke.
Covid season east final was in Toronto ticats hosted east semi
No doubt McMaster Alumni Jacob Mason is capable of starting at Fullback for montreal
They will give it to Rourke almost guaranteed. They hate Hamilton
