Yeah and its obvious Jakub Szott was only on the 1 game so another team couldn’t claim him from practice roster

Just something cool I found while scrolling through some game notes. Liegghio sits as the 5th most accurate field goal kicker in CFL history.
Just needs to keep kicking for another 10 years to match the others volume lol

I’d say that Liegghio, career to date, stat is really quite impressive, as is the fact that it was posted, for us, by of all forum nicknames, BetweenTheGoalposts.

What cutoff are you using as a qualifier? How many more kicks does he need to be on that list and not a +? Or is that just the top ten in volume sort de by accuracy?

I should have included that in the screenshot, my bad. The cutoff is a minimum of 150 career field goal attempts. Liegghio is at 145, so he will likely be included in the actual list by the end of the month, instead of just being a +
Very true. We might just be witnessing the greatest group of kickers in CFL history! I know Paredes has said he has 2 years left in the tank, but it would be awesome to see him and Sean Whyte play for another 5 years

Just looking at the updated roster and it would appear that we now have 2 number #15’s showing . Kyle Wilson has had the number for going on 5 years now and newly acquired Jake Dolegala (PR) has also been assigned the same number as well . It also would appear that Stubblefield has now been moved to the active roster from the 1 gm IL .

I wouldn’t put too much stock in what the roster page says as it has Brayden Swartout, Treshaun Ward, and Kyler Fisher as number 0 and still has Szott on the PR

I wouldn’t trust the roster page too much either. They also have Quavian White listed on the roster page as well showing a total of 47 players which is two over the limit. To add to the roster you also need to delete from the roster. Just need to wait for the depth chart to be released on Friday to really know what is going on.

I’m, also, in the have learned to not trust the online roster group. But, as for having 2 x #15s, my guess is the extra one was copied, & pasted, from how Dolegala’s name, and number, appeared on the roster of his last team (WPG). I expect we’ll see him, by Friday, listed as one three open TiCat #s – 13, 14, 16.
It should be such an easy task, for some staffer to keep that roster up to date. But, it’s something this club just hasn’t been able to do, for some number of seasons.

I do wonder if maybe they have him in a red 15 as he’s only practice roster for now but they will have to change his number if he ever gets elevated so they might as well switch it now.

Terrific , so if he can’t go on Saturday then who does the kick returning ?
They might put Quavian White on the active roster - believe he did some returning in college and auditioned in camp for it as well. Also recall that Moxey filled in on kickoff returns last year during a game when one of the returners was injured. Not ideal obviously. If Wooden is out for a while they could try to bring back Philip Brooks.
