A Ti-Cat specific sub-forum where fans can bring up non-football related topics and not get attacked for it.

We could call it “The Concourse.”

Pointing out off topic subject matter in a TC/CFL forum when an off topic section already clearly exists isnt really an “attack”., but yeah, agree.

That isnt the point. How many explicitly titled football threads devolve into nostalgia, pop cultural references, movies, music etc that have nothing to do with football ? With an off topic section one who wants to do that sort of thing could really enjoy it.

…signed by the same famous golf architect .Here’s the problem . We have a politician, Maureen Wilson, who would essentially destroy these great courses . She wants pickle ball courts and natural areas to replace Thompson’s Gems . Her constituents need better road maintenance (potholes on Aberdeen and Charleton are third world quality) .We expect politicians to solve problems, not create them .

Security Guard Mistakenly Tackles Golfer at Canadian Open

I was watching the celebration and then saw that.
I get he might not know it was Hadwin.
but
Why would a security guard aggressively tackle a guy spraying a champagne bottle during a celebration?
He is a security guard not a body guard.

The security staff were off their game for sure causing more incidents than defusing all around me yesterday during the extra holes.

Makes sense to me. Lets just fill the Ticats forum with non-football related topics.

I actually like the variety, as opposed to the hundreds of threads that are basically discussing the same thing about the ticats.

Id hope a fourm for a Hamilton sports team would be a good “base” for other Hamilton sports topics of interest to Hamilton since we don’t have much else, golf course closures, the Canadian Open, World Cup training site, Common Wealth games, boycotting the NHL etc.
