Let me get this straight half_time friday is a circus freak show featuring the strong man(with laudable charitable aspirations) and a gourmand? whtever happened to dogs ,marching bands even a two card wrestling event.they can't play football and they hate real entertainment.
So because you think it's a bad idea that makes it bad? You actually care about halftime shows?
If the halftime show is what brings you to the games.. wow.
They can have a door painting competition for all i care as long as they win the ballgame.
At half-time i'm down getting food and drinks, I couldn't care less.Well, except for my friend that's gonna be in the martial arts demo in September.
Crash, I love your idea about a door painting contest. I have two new exterior doors that I have been putting off painting, also known as procrastination. I can even supply the paints and rollers.
Bring back the Batman guy that zip-lined from the top corner of the north stand onto the field.
Now those were half time shows during the Rodger Yachetti era.
And the live Tiger in the cage under the scoreboard, now that would be a year of the Tiger.
I love Roger Yachetti!!!
I met him a few times and almost every time he gave me cards to get 2 free box seats on him. Such a super nice guy too. A rich guy as down to earth as a poor man. A gentleman.
Reminds me of the Argo's home opener two years ago when the 1/2 time 'show' consisted of a pizza twirler and a marching band that played unrecognizable tunes.
An Argo-Cat fan
I'm still trying to figure how how an on-field cheer with 1000 people is world record. You'd just think the record would be way more people, wouldn't ya?
Anyhoo, I'm old school and still dig marching bands.
Why can't we be regular and have a band at half-time?
I even enjoy watching the kids playing football, they're not half bad
The Thriller half time show was amazing last year.
I think it would been cool to have Arkell's play as the half-time entertainment for a game. They played at a Vanier Cup, suggesting an interest in football, they were formed and are still based in Hamilton, they've named themselves after a Hamilton street and their latest album "Jackson Square" after the one and only, suggesting an interest in being part of the culture of the city.
Hey Ballard86, you should go on the field at half time and take part in the Oskee Wee Wee!!!! We need a win so show your support and yell loud so we can win...
Yes, they did play at halftime at the 2008 Vanier Cup final, and seemed to be honoured to be there, as you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7xo5TDQo_8
But if they could play at halftime at a Ticat game, it appears it would be a while before that could be done, as you can see from the list of upcoming shows they are already scheduled to do: http://www.myspace.com/arkellsmusic
