Greg Carr

The solution? Don't blow coverages. It's not like Carr torched our D with crazy-good route running or many contested catches. He just benefited from our D falling asleep at the wheel and maybe being a touch too aggressive jumping short routes. If they play like they did against the Stamps last week, Carr will be a non-factor.

Heh, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, though, outside of that one TD catch in the first quarter, Carr wasn’t much of a factor. And it is really hard to blame Dix on that play; he had good position on Carr but the size mismatch prevented him from doing more. Jyles threw the ball on target and Carr made no mistake. Sometimes, you just have to give credit to the other team. (although I’m still not sure why Burke left Dix in cover zero against a receiver twice his size)

After the first half of the first quarter, the D really stepped up and played with aggression and fire. The man coverage was tight for most of the game and at key times, the secondary made plays (Boulay, Estelle).
