I thought they were horrid.
I thought they looked like a cross between something that both Calgary and BC have worn over the years. Fugly? No. Just not what you expect to see "The Green and White" wearing. However, when you consider that this is basically what they wore for the first 30 years or so of their existence, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
You want a Fugly retro jersey? I submit that the Montreal Canadiens in their jailbreak unis are much more "fugly" than this Riders jersey. This looks like a legit football jersey/uniform...just not like a Riders one.
Too many people getting too worked up about it, from where I see it.
