It is interesting that Roy Shivers, is being mentioned as possible candidates for jobs in Calgary and Hamilton. The following is the Calgary link.

I suspect the Hamilton job will give him more authority in the short term but likely a shorter time with the team.
I think he could do good with Calgary as they have a solid base to build on. The only question would is it to big a of step down from being a GM.
The rumour out here (CKNW Noon Sports) Is Hufnagel will be in Calgary as both Coach and GM.
Shivers in Hamilton....A possibility!

Hasn't that team been through enough?
....I'd support Hufnagel as Coach, I dunno about Coach/GM (the Dunnigan days aren't that far removed).....
yea no kidding! Hamilton doesn't need to have to deal with Shivers! Saskatchewan already did and look what happened?
Let Hamilton Hire someone who isn't racist.

Agree look at Popp to many things and the person won't have enough time to do anything.

I think the more rumors that start, particularily involving Calgary and BC, the better it is for the Riders.
Players don't respond as well if they know coaches and/or GM are being thrown out or leaving. They get in the back of their heads...will they be around next year.
Loose lips. CKNW was interviewing the Calgary Play by Play guy. It was supposed to be quiet, but one person told one friend, who told one friend, who told one friend.....

Change think to hope, and you might have something.
You honestly think the rumours are effecting the players?

We all ready have a crime wave with Shivers here it would make it worse. I do not believe for a minute Shivers would be a strong candidate for GM here.
Yep he can find talent at any penal institution.
Interesting problem here...What if Calgary goes all the way and wins the Grey Cup? Do you still replace Higgens with Hufnagel?
I believe it is a done deal. But Higgens is stil vice presidnet of football operations regardless I believe.
Ouch Arius he is a rider fan is he not. Yes your right one you would like to forget.
