Even without your team in the final it looks like the GC and the festivities leading up to it were a great success......good job to the many fans who attended the game and partied beforehand.......be proud of your accomplishments......

Some good news. The noon News reported that the merchants figured the Grey Cup brought in 40 million dollars into the local economy.
Honestly, I don't know how they can come up with those numbers so fast.
I had an awesome time at the GC. Would have like to have seen the Lions but it was alot of fun. Awesome to see BC Place full.
Now, if we can only fill BC Place for regular season games...

My parents and bro went in 1999 and said there was no atmosphere whatsoever in Vancouver. People didn't even know there was a game on that weekend. This time our whole family came from Sask. and we had a great time!!! The parties were awesome, the parade with Pamela Anderson was good and the B.C. fans showed up despite their team not being in it. Well done Vancouver, it was very nice to see!!!
