Two articles on the morning matches. So far my prediction that Europe simply outclasses the US by far is looking good, although I really donât want to see another Ryder Cup where itâs all but over halfway through the second day. I have also decades of cheering for the US ingrained in me so I have to check myself at times and realize that I shouldnât be cheering for the nation of dicks to the south.
A clickbait type article on a potential Bryson?rory matchup given their history. It would be interesting to see. Two great players.

Other than the trash-talking, Scump-Screaminâ fans in New York trying to ârough upâ the Euros, Scump-style with threats and idiocy Luke Donaldâs Euros did exactly what I saw as necessary from the get-go - they controlled and muzzled The Monster, Scottie Scheffler - the one American player I cheer for despite him residing in Scump Country. Scottie is 0-4 so far, not even in Luke Donaldâs wildest limey dreams could he have imagined muzzling Scheffler to that extent. Rahm, Rory & Fleetwood w/ other limeys like Rosie, Hatton & mouth-grinding Shane Lowry. Americaâs road to victory is clear and its stark. They must take 10 matches (or 10 overall pts) to derail the Euros. 10 out of 12 - - - - thatâd be the biggest sports story in the world since Cal Raleigh slapped 62 dingers in MLB. Possible - yeah? Probable? Maybe 3% to 5% chance and Iâm being charitable.
If Iâm U.S. Captain Keegan Bradley, who looks like heâs aged 25 years in 2 days. I tell my soldiers - âGuys, every match today is The Ryder Cup!, play like the Ryder Cup is your match. Give it all you have and then when you think youâve given everything, give more!ââ
A moral (meaningless but moral) victory for Team Scump today would be taking 8 out of the 12 matches - and Scheffler topling Roy the Boy (McIlroy) in the Marquis Matchup.

Hovland canât go due to injury and Europe gets a half point for that? Weird.
They have agreements in place. The injury had to be verified by the house doctor, which it was. Discs in Hovlandâs neck, acting up, causing pain & inflammation. Pain was handled by meds - but inflammation caused stiffness, Hovland unable to turn violently which is required in golf.
Not at all questioning the injury.
But itâs a WD.
Appalling behaviour by the US fans. Even the emcee from yesterday was fired.

I heard a woman doing the player intros this a.m. Sounded a lot like Karoline Leavitt, Scumpâs White House spokesperson. Wonder if Scump ordered the Ryder Cup committee to let her do the announcing? Yes, Sir! Yes, Sir! How High, Sir?
Besides Scheffler the only USA player I have a modicum of respect for is De Chambeau. No respect whatsoever for Keegan Bradley.
PS. Upon further reflection I donât have any problem with Mighty Joe Young either. (aka Cameron Joe Young)
