Edmonton knocks off B.C. next week.
Winnipeg beats Hamilton.
B.C. will be out of the playoffs because Hamilton and B.C. will both have 16 points but Hamilton won both of their games against B.C.
Too bad, so sad.

Hay - if we can't beat Edmonton at our barn we don't deserve to be in the playoffs - no problem.
But I have a that old time feeling we're going to wring their necks and its going to feel real good. I wish I could be there - its going to be a mighty game.
Too bad that won't happen.
Oh man I hope you guys are right. I really do....We really should have 20 points now instead of sitting at 16!
relax - trust us!
More scenarios you guys should the Lions lose against Edmonton next week:
The only way the Lions could make the cross-over is for Hamilton to either win or tie Winnipeg. But if the Lions lose against Edmonton it will be 3 in a row. Hmmm.... nice to see they are "peaking". As in "peeking duck". "Sitting duck" maybe? lol
have faith, we can do it. GO LIONS GO
This doesn’t matter in the cross-over. B.C. could’ve won both games and if it was a tie would still lose out in the cross-over. The team that is going to cross-over has to have more points than the team in its own division. Any ties go to the team in its own division.
I find that very fair and like the ruling.
Head-to-head doesnt matter if an East and West team are tied for a potential cross-over?
Nope, none what-so-ever.
Just remember that a cross-over happens when a fourth place team in one division has more points than a 3rd place team in the other division. If the fourth place team has equal amount of points as the third place team in the other division then the third place team gets into the play-offs.
Basically the cross-over has to be definitive.
Well I suppose that makes sense.

So, in the event that B.C. loses to Edmonton then the only way B.C. gets in by way of the cross over is to hope for a tie between Hamilton and Winnipeg or a Hamilton win? Have I got that right?

Yes. You have got it right now.
