Over/under how many punters/kickers will get chosen? I’m guessing 12
And the rest will be players CFL teams are CERTAIN will be signed to NFL contracts. 
Even better. This initiative is such a success
I had this pipe dream that the Global program was an initiative to bring the 3 down game to the world. Not an initiative to take punting positions away from Canadians. Maybe it’s too early to judge…
Originally it was more about saving money. In the old days they made 10k less than North American players. Now it’s about Winnipeg finding a global player like Les Maruo and the rest of the CFL wondering how they can duplicate that success.
As for punters, Stefan Flintoft (American) took a job from a global in BC. If Canadians want to be punting in the CFL, all they have to do is play better.
Yeah, for every Canadian who lost a job as punter, another Canadian has taken as job at another position.
