Globe and Mail article - Final Year of CFL TV Contract

Why?? how many Canadian households can’t get TSN on either Cable, Satellite or the Internet? If you are in an area that doesn’t get Cable, Satellite or the Internet then there is a good chance you won’t pick up CTV over the air either.

Haven't read that whole article but did they mention that the CFL is different from the NFL, NHL etc. with far few teams and therefore not as many games. Meaning that having all the games on one network can make much more sense that leagues with so many more teams if the right deal is struck. I don't think any network could show all the games from the NFL etc. It would be practically impossible I'm thinking and also impossible from a resources point of view and I don't think any network could afford it as well.

The contract for the rights to Monday night football is ridiculous, ESPN paid mega dollars for that and I think they also do the Sunday night game too.
