As a duo, Miller and Dunigan are much better than Cuthbert/Suitor and Black/Forde. Rod Black is the worst, he should only do games every now and then when someone else can't.
was at that game, watched it back when i got home. great play calling there by both miller and dunigan. u can actually hear the enthusiasm in their voice as opposed to this one here…
lol… listen to suitor… wonder what team he was going for?
Haha that’s too funny
Always seem to have a love affair for the Esk’s though if you’ve noticed. No matter who they’re playing or how bad they’re getting thrashed it’s “Ricky Ray is this… Rick Ray is that…How about Ricky Ray…now that’s vintage Ricky Ray folks…Ricky Ray doesn’t usually play this bad…Ricky Ray never seems to smile… refers to a past play by Ray bad or good for the next 35 minutes and ignore’s what the other team is doing”
So annoying.Same thing with Rambo’s return. It was the Ken-Yon Rambo show ft. a CFL game.
Suitor is pretty bad with his continued use of slurpage, I propose we start a petition to stop Rod Black from mentioning, during every single Eskimos game, that Arkee Whitlock had a bad first game. I think, by now, everyone knows what happened when he stepped in for Brittle Jesse.
When Suits started out as a broadcaster he was paired with Gord Miller. The Glen and Gord show was some of the most entertaining, fun football commentary I've ever hear.
Sadly, Glen has slipped over the years. I don't there are many that care as much about the game as he does, but he seems to be missing things more and more often and his analyses are either wrong or misdirected more often than not.
I actually don't think Glen has as big a bias as some folks suggest. It's just that when he makes mistakes and he's talking about 'your team' it starts to sound like bias. Thing is, he makes mistakes all around.
I'm sorry, I can't believe what I am reading. Suitor doesn't know much about the game of football. He must have been a stellar athlete to play in the league as long as he did with his minuscule knowledge of the game. And your crazy if you don't know that he hates the Riders. There was a small amount of booing when he was announced last year at the 89 cup reunion. I can live with it all though, as long as he stops saying, "See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya."
kbaron, I think you're the only person who would say that he hates the Riders. Suits is very pro-Riders. It's painfully obvious to everyone in the world. He tries to be critical of them at times, so that he can appear to be unbiased, but that's about it.
Ok, I'll admit hate might have been a strong word but he IS NOT pro Riders. Why the boo's if I was the only one that thought this way. Shhhh that's call a fact. :?
A bunch of Rider fans booing him doesn't mean that he hates the Riders, or even that he is not biased towards them. It means that a bunch of Rider fans don't like him.
But I think he's said "See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya" every game he's done this year. I have no problem with him, but every time he says that I want to put my face through a wall.
