Anyway I have a beef with Cuthbert, in the last game against the Riders, he was spouting off how the Gades could be 6 or 7 and 3 because they have a couple games against the Bombers coming up. STFU, does the term any given sunday have no relevance to this man, that is a slap in the face to bomber fans, even if it is likely.
Ya I do not like any of them to be very honest all homers. They need someone that can add life to their telecasts. They are just truly deplorable.

I don't mind Suitor as a commentator, but I do think he could stand to be more objective. He loves the Riders, which is understandable considering the amount of time he spent playing here, but as a commentator I think it's your responsibility to give more credit to the teams opposing the Riders. Granted, he does this from time to time, but not enough for my liking.

What’s wrong with being realistic? Everyone was talking about how Ottawa could be 0-3 or 0-5 to start the season. And the Bombers are not a very good team right now. He did use the word “could”, didn’t he?

Oh yah, we need Don Cherry. Now there is a guy who is not a homer. He never says anything good about Toronto Maple Leafs, no. You never get any idea he is from the east and Toronto at any time, no, no, no. When our Vancouver Canucks play Toronto on a national game it never sounds to us like Don Cherry is anything but equally observant about our team.
The facts of life are that if an announcer is from a certain team in the past or certain home town, it is very hard not to show more knowledge about that team. It is the same as us commenting on a board like this. We know the team we support better than the opponents and of course we are biased.
The announcers will tell you that when they are at home they get complaints that they are against their team so they never can win that battle. It is not a huge point to me.
Worst - Suitor and Flutie? Both of them are experienced guys who know football and for the person who knows the game, they make sense to them.
Of course Flutie now knows the east teams better than the west but I still don't mind listening to them. I guess you can always listen to the radio and watch tv with the sound down. I do that at home and alternate a bit just to get a different view on things.
I think people are being a bit too critical when it comes to the ex-players in the booth.
Suitor is not a bad commentator. He is better than the whole CBC crew.
I guess you should turn on your hearing aide when you watch games.
I think that Climie and Schulz need to go as well. I mean, c'mon, Schulz going into detail on what QB's should be doing? That's why Dunnigan is there...anyways, they are so pro-East that it makes me puke.
