1)the combine isnt specifically for the fans. The combine is for the athletes attending and their potential suitors. i believe that making it public information is the leagues way of keep the fans entertained and enthused during the offseason as well as to get them excited about the future.
2)the combine offers a controlled atmosphere where the risk of injury to the athletes performing is minimal. A serious injury could potentially end the career of athletes before it even begins.
3)the US already has post season all star games where the best college players in the country are invited and occasionally a CIS player is invited.
IN a sence the NCAA and CIS players already play against each other in the global championships. Most of the players are pre college that is why I said “in a sence”.
The funny thing is that Team Canada usually wins,lol
