Hate to say it but most officials are somewhat slow on the uptake - that’s exactly why punters are trained to maximize leg extension and ever so slightly veer into a surging rusher/blocker. Getting a 10 or 15 yard penalty is only 1/2 the battle - continuing a drive is the real prize!
First time - was not touched. No penalty.
Second time - was touched. Penalty.
Third time - was touched. No penalty.
By flopping, you don't come out ahead. If anything, refs won't give you the benefit of the doubt in the future as you'll get the reputation of a diver.
All this notwithstanding, Bradbury and crew were horrible last night. Standing right in front of Willis and calls a horse collar for tugging the middle of the jersey. Then they huddle and decide to call Solly for rough play or some such nonsense instead! Of course, B.C. got manhandled every which way but loose, but good God! :
