Mike Reilly is truly a monster!

Lions could not withstand his mere presence!

Wally's mind almost as shot as Mike O'Shea's . . .

The 29,940 was not as good as the season opener but still not bad as it was not that short of 30 .

I never thought it was a flop per say, so much as looking for the contact.

Hate to say it but most officials are somewhat slow on the uptake - that’s exactly why punters are trained to maximize leg extension and ever so slightly veer into a surging rusher/blocker. Getting a 10 or 15 yard penalty is only 1/2 the battle - continuing a drive is the real prize!

He fell down like a sack of cement without being touched. That’s what flopping means.

I think refs should prepare for player tendencies and become less willing to award the penalty knowing that a certain player is a drama queen.

Long fell 3x.

First time - was not touched. No penalty.
Second time - was touched. Penalty.
Third time - was touched. No penalty.

By flopping, you don't come out ahead. If anything, refs won't give you the benefit of the doubt in the future as you'll get the reputation of a diver.

All this notwithstanding, Bradbury and crew were horrible last night. Standing right in front of Willis and calls a horse collar for tugging the middle of the jersey. Then they huddle and decide to call Solly for rough play or some such nonsense instead! Of course, B.C. got manhandled every which way but loose, but good God! ::slight_smile:

Jennings wasn’t near as bad as the Lion D. And as for Ty Long? Not surprised, his performance was no different than last season.
