“If we just come out and play this same way every week, you’re not always going to get the result, but you’re always going to have a chance,? Bellefeuille says. “But you’ll get results more often than not if you have a talented football team and we do.?

The Cats have been led by the solid play of quarterback Kevin Glenn, who has seven touchdown passes and nary an interception during the winning steak, and seems to have bought into the new mindset.

“We don’t spend too much time thinking about ‘when are they going do this, when are they going to do that.’ We just go out and try and execute our offence,? Glenn says. “If we go out and take care of our business, we should come out winners.?

The receiving corps isn’t the only change for the Ticats this week: an injury to halfback Carlos Thomas means yet another new look in defensive co-ordinator Corey Chamblin’s revolving-door secondary. Veteran Jason Shivers will slide to halfback and Daniel Francis will take over for Shivers at safety.

Injuries are also an problem on Calgary’s side of the ball, where both middle linebacker Juwan Simpson, the West Division most outstanding defensive player last year, and receiver Ken-Yon Rambo are both no-gos for Saturday

So it now sounds like T-Lee will not be starting. Francis at safety and Shivers to half is the most logical move. I feel a lot more comfortable with Francis is instead of Lee.

Francis played a bit in the Als game. I thought he alright.

With Calgary's middle linebacker Juwan Simpson, the West Division most outstanding defensive player last year, perhaps Dueces has a chance to have a big game
