Yes football can be cruel and not just physical. Political, fickle fans, wannabe coaches. Right place or wrong place, with the right “word” = football.
BC Adams:
Not everybody likes BCs Adams, just the same, without him the are just a middle of the road club, after Rouke.
He was preforming at an amazing level - maybe over his head. The first time anyone showed serious faith in him and “his” team.
As soon as the Rouke return hit the gossip wire an BC management played into it they may have destroyed his confidence.
They better hope he has a “Jesus Moment” (or two).
Who can they get to back up Adams? Their back up QB is not ready yet; Montreal’s IS !!

Also, I ment nothing demeaning about “Jesus” moment, whatever gives you strength and I feel he is a courageous fellow. I worked with Athlete’s in Action (which is a Jesus moment movement. But we all have trials and most do not walk on water.
Pulling for VA.
OR… it could be that the Bombers normally fearsome defense led by newly minted defensive coordinator Jordan Younger gelled at just the right moment and VA found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Coach Younger may have unleashed hell upon the rest of the league. VA might be the first of many quarterbacks to fall at his hands in the coming weeks.
Either that or I’m full of crap like usual and our shutout was just a fluke.
