Future of BC Place

I don't know why we in Vancouver have this mindset that tearing down stadiums is a good thing.

Just a couple of years ago, the city was talking about tearing down Nat Bailey Stadium (home of the Vancouver Canadians, our minor league baseball team); thankfully the parks board decided to keep it.

As for BC Place, I think its a great venue for football. Going to the western final in 2004 was an amazing experience, seeing the seats full, and hearing the incredible noise. Hell, even sitting in the end zone seats in '97 with only 12,000 other fans was still fun.

That marshmallow-in-bondage building is part of Vancouver and CFL history (first ever Canada vs. US Grey Cup), one we need to keep.

hehehe marshmellow in bondage.......
