REGINA — The combined efforts of special teams and offence gave kicker Brett Lauther a chance to win the game as the Saskatchewan Roughriders took the field trailing by one late against the REDBLACKS.
Didn’t Saskatchewan squander a huge lead and try more than once to hand the game to Ottawa? Sheesh. It’s a good thing that I was thoroughly entertained and look forward to seeing these Cardiac Kids play in Montreal this Friday.

[/quote]There’s no such thing as an ugly win. What’s wrong, couldn’t get in to the post game phone in and whine show?
On the good side quarterbacking is just Fine in Saskatchewan, no problem. On the bad side these brilliant schedule makers give Ottawa a week between games and Sask. has to travel to Montreal and play in 4 days from now. Player safety? Yeah sure.
If both teams keep making that many mistakes cannot expect to win game vs the top three dogs in the 2023 season. Or for that matter, any of the other also rans.
Any possible rider dynasty is at best 5 years away BEFORE we can even hope the think the team is good enough to have such a dynasty… Then the team has to actually maintain quality coaches and players for an additional 5 to 8 seasons
??? Ottawa played Friday July 28th and then in Sask Sunday August 6. How does this equate to 4 days rest for you??? Follow the league a bit before posting outright lies.
