Simply heart breaking and kinda scary.
Find myself wondering about food supply in greater Vancouver. Lots of damage to farms. Possible 50% loss of dairy and eggs as I read in one article. Trucks and Trains cant get in.
People dying. Destroyed homes and businesses. Before this is over, it may very well the the worst "natural" disaster BC has ever experienced. All this on top of historic wildfires and heat wave. wow.
Gonna be a lot of sewage to clean up in some places. yuck.
We are fortunate, so far, to live higher up and should never experience floods or rising sea levels. We just cant go anywhere very far. I imagine some washed away roads may have to be replaced with bridges.
those arent whales swimming in Vancouver streets, just canucks jerseys discarded by disgruntled fans
