For the sake of Edmonton fans I’m just painting a best case scenario here. If they were facing Winnipeg in Winnipeg I’d have asked the same question.

It’s all ‘what if’. Every Tuesday I ask myself ‘what happens if I pick the right Lotto Max numbers?’ (Something good I’ll bet) Don’t take me too seriously please. Nobody else does. I don’t even take myself seriously. Relax. Put your feet up.

ON a more serious note, perhaps renewed optimism will encourage a large turnout. Chris Jones’ approach to the game, and disdain for anyone who would dare question him, alienated so many. A legend in his own mind did not make him a legend in the minds of the long-suffering fan base.

IMHO Jones was fired for his :

      • poor 2022 record,
      • the humiliating double shut outs to the Lions,
      • the 0 - 9 start to 2023, when everyone else gave up on QB Corn long ago.
      • Tre Ford proved to be an exceptional qb, 2023, but not used at all 2024 when Elks got to 0 - 5,

  • likely to be 0 - 6 in a road game far to the east.

  • Jones is stubborn or can’t understand that Ford can be useful.
