The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have been overwhelming in 2021.
They haven’t been perfect; there have been interceptions, fumbles, missed kicks and penalties but the sum of their parts has been special as they attempt to win back-to-back Grey Cups spanning the void that was 2020.
The Bombers would've lost in the Banjo Bowl had the officials not tipped the scales in their favor.

It's very telling how after the game the only person fined for instigating the fight was a bomber. Yet they managed to stay in the game
True, but if the Riders would have responded to adversity it would have been at least close. They didn't have an answer.
I'm sure if Winnipeg would've had two defensive players ejected, Collaros out of the game, etc. The game would've been a beat down the other way.
Even Harris and Lawler or that olineman who instigated being booted would've kept the game even. Not convinced the Bombers are that much above the next team. Fully expect they'll lose a close low scoring game to sask or Calgary in the west final.
Harris did not throw any punches, hence no ejection from the game, read the rule book. The fight was already started by the Riders when Harris grabbed the facemask (which is wrong and I am not defending, CFL needs to update rules.). Besides that is not why the Riders lost.
Man this is funny to read no Bomber instigated the fight it was the dumb rider player who pushed Demski into the turf that’s how it all started lol

Buddy I was at the game in my seats I saw the whole thing each & every infraction 6 flags were thrown. Refs were good with the penalty calls
