An interesting take on things Marshall, but I would like to take it a step further and really get the coffee shop buzzing. What about VA in Winnipeg? Yes, they have Collaros and he has led them to the top of the Division but has had his troubles ( a la Anthony Cavillo) of delivering in the biggest game. Sure, some of the struggles have been bad luck, a sort of curse, but the fact remains, he hasn’t won the last three. Players love to play with VA and just imagine the talent that might follow him to Winnipeg. Also, let’s not forget he’s younger and more exciting. Let the coffee flow and the chatter begin.

From the coffee shop: yes i can see Winnipeg in the mix. Collaros may be nearing his best-before date, and like Calvillo make a graceful exit while on top. Also the Bombers have pretty good trade options in their roster. Collaros could easily make a transition to coaching CFL or U Sports.

Big Play VA to The Hammer

I disagree with the Calgary talk. After the leak of the Team Report card on Calgary came out, I can’t see Adams wanting to go to that mess in Calgary with Dictator Dickenson in charge.

hmm let’s see, where do I go? To Edmonton who’s got a New GM with desires to improve the team up and down, possibly hiring my Former HC Campbell? or go play for Dickenson who should have lost his job… but definitely lost the dressing room. if I were Adams I wouldn’t even pick up the phone from the Calgary team if they were to call.

he should go to Edmonton…

if Collaros is healthy and still capable, he’ll stay in Winnipeg. OShea will only get rid of him if he’s not performing up to how he should in the 2025 training camp.

Not sure how Toronto got tossed in there? I think the Argos prefer mental toughness above all else, and that is not VA (IMO). Could say same about the Bombs. Edmonton might make sense but what role did Campbell play in benching VA for Rourke (assuming Campbell goes “home”) and would VA want to be in that position again (playing with another popular national QB on the roster)? Hamilton or Saskatchewan make some sense. Not sure Calgary is on anyone’s wish list.

With the Grey Cup in Winnipeg, the Bombers will want Va to win the Cup, the salary cap be damned. Collaros will stay a Bomber to form the greatest dual quarterbacks in the history of the CFL. I sip my hot coffee. :coffee:

It should be noted that the new GM of the BC Lions stated that VAjr would not have a say in where he will be traded,
He will be kept informed of offers
but
He said the trade will be what is best for BC Lions

I don’t know where Adams will end up, but I’m not sure that Edmonton is a better situation management wise than Calgary or anywhere else. While you obviously don’t think highly of Dickenson, there are many who don’t think highly of Hervey and his checkered past. Not necessarily the guy you want to play for if you’re counting on getting paid.

I also thought that the team report cards were coming but not yet out. I am not aware of a leak but if there is please point it out. I thought that the Calgary criticism wasn’t from the report cards coming out, but rather from the mouth of one yammering fool who doesn’t have the class to win with grace. I could be wrong.

Shortened version would be that he has no idea where V.A. could wind up and this is just filler.

Time to face facts Trevor Harris is 38, it’s over and it is time to move on. (Trevor Harris – Saskatchewan Roughriders)

PJ Walker is a solid pickup in the Town of Cows, but let’s hope they screw this up and bring in VA for a full-on QB controversy. The Elks fan base want Tre Ford and anything else will NOT do. Put money on the Riders, which will suck because VA will flourish in Riderville.

i dunno. Harris isn’t over just yet. but it depends on a number of factors.

Dickenson will likely be run out of town if they dont get VAjr.

Like I said time to face facts, Harris is DONE there son!

But remember it is 0% his choice. VA goes where BC sends him.

Yeah thanks. I did read that but the criticism came from ex-Stampeders and wasn’t part of the report cards we are told are coming. If the current players feel the same way as these ex players do I’m sure the report card won’t be good. We’ll see soon.

I think I’ll take Moon and Wilkinson.

I wasn’t aware there are actual reports cards but thought that a refermce to them was made in this article. Maybe it was just the d rating.

I recall when Charleston Hughes came to Sask he talked about how poor the training facilities were in Calgary and what an improvement Sask was. But that wasn’t a big surprise considering Sask’s entire facility was new and Calgary’s is very old. But I’ve never heard consistent complaints like in this article. There must be something to it.
