Attended the Lions Fan Appreciation Day at training camp recently and for the most part it was pretty well run. Took a bunch of football kids and they had a blast mingling with the players before practice, getting autographs, taking pictures. However, they had Dickenson, Geroy, Clermont and Brent Johnson holed up inside a building, each with a photographer, charging $10 for a picture. Very, very lame; using a Fan Appreciation gig to take more money out of the fans. And as far as I could see not many were taking the bait. All it did was deny fans from seeing their favorite Lions. Typical Lions marketing and promotions, they rarely get it completely right.
JUST WHEN THE LIONS TAKE 2 GREAT LEAPS FORWARD,THEY HOLD A FAN APPRECIATATION DAY AND END UP TAKING 3 GIANT LEAPS BACKWARDS.
TO HAVE THOSE PLAYERS CHARGING SHOWS NO CLASS AT ALL.
PLS DISREGARD CAPS ON BY MISTAKE
