An interesting story from the NY Times' sports pages. Somehow, though a few appropriate words seem to have been left out. Complete the sentence which ends with the words "Grey Cup" by adding .... "by holding a clipboard for Joe Zuger and also watching, from the bench, some of his other teammates who formed perhaps the greatest defensive unit in CFL history."

Allow me to correct myself, on one comment. Redell was a backup QB, but in checking it out further, I believe he also was a cornerback on that outstanding defensive unit, which didn't allow a touchdown in the final four games it played that year, including the 24-1 Grey Cup win over SSK in Ottawa. Nevertheless, saying HE LED the team to that championship is quite a strrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrretch.
Bill Redell I remember him well played for Occidental University, that was a nice story. :thup:
