I really do enjoy cheering for Minnesota guys!

Great signing. Could start in any secondary in the league. I’m a little disappointed it was only for one year.

Wait - is Holm too old? Just wondering.

Fantastic signing.

When I read those frequent opinions of someone on the Bombers being too old I just substitute the word “good” for “old”. That is what they really mean.

The bombers keep signing the same guys after losing 3 straight cups… do they not have ability to find new talent ?

I would rather lose the grey cup than not even make the playoffs. We have had the talent to be the best of the west three years straight, even if we couldn’t finish in the end (which is a big disappointment for sure!)…Though your comment is disingenuous as they clearly have the ability and do sign new talent as well…they’re just too good at it! (see Ontario Wilson and possibly Tyrell Ford leaving for the NFL…new talent that helped them a lot last year that will have to be replaced this year).

Lol. Thats 3 names… in the past the entire Stamp roster was thier own finds

When you woke up this morning, my fine fickle friend of football was your first focus Winnipeg Blue Bombers? When you lay yourself to rest in the evening is your final focus Winnipeg Blue Bombers? Perhaps, Santa Claus wasn’t good to you this past Christmas, did you have a Blue Blue Blue Christmas or maybe you just have the winter “Blues” I don’t know. What’s clear however is you really need change something. After all, by your own statement if you do the same thing over and over again and expect a change…well you know how that little diddy ends. Now you go outside get yourself some fresh air and have a fantastic day.

Wait, when does it cross over from “the entire roster being their own finds” to “signing the same (implied bad) guys”. That is literally the same actions, just viewed through the lens of whether a team won the Grey Cup or not the year previous. If they won then re-signing their own finds is a great move, if they lost then it’s viewed as running it back and bad. For the Bombers there are 100% players that every other team would love to have that I am glad the are re-signing, and there are players I hope they move on from (Bighill) as I agree they need to continue to find talent to have a chance at another Grey Cup.

I like Holm and think that he is a good piece, and will be an asset towards winning another Grey Cup. So I am happy they re-signed him. I hope they do make changes and get in new players though, I do not want the Bombers to have 100% the exact same roster as last year.

I think that is what most Bomber fans want as well. So far they are signing all of the right pieces and have other key pieces such as Nichols and Oliveira signed already. If they don’t sign Schoen (likely) or Bighill (we hope) perhaps there is money available to bring a Ceresna or McManis into the fold and away from the dark side.
