Hard to tell which is the real Cats team after the Als games, but I suspect that the turning point in the season will be the Eskimo game. First of all, we are coming off an embarassing loss, so nothing short of an inspiring and aggressive performance in all aspects of the game, should be expected. If we are flat again, bring out the knives, there are surgical amputations to be effected.
Secondly, a key factor is Ricky Ray. Not quite AC, but certainly can dissect a defence if given time to do so, and if we cannot establish a rush or decent pressure, Terrence Stamps and crew may have another field day against us. The Esks are an upper echelon team, and if we can dictate the game to them, disrupt Ray and harness their offence, we should be able to score enough points on them to win. Preparation for them cannot be a whole lot different than AC due to the quarterback styles. I flip flop on whether I like Chamblin's defence or not, or whether he is a defensive guru or another stiff, so how our defence performs will tell me a lot.
A win, and we still can contend for a home playoff spot and even first place as the Als and Bombers have to beat each other up, but a loss, especially if it is a resounding loss, tells me that we are Mediocrityville once again.

so right boydowler.
This is one of the most important games of the season, as it will likely have a direct impact on where the Cats place in the East…And Hamilton needs to secure home playoff dates as they have a terrible road record.
This game is going to tell me alot about the Esks as well; next week we’ve got the Als and possibly could be looking at 6-6 going up against the Lions at B.C. Place. Basically we are just like you guys as it may just to come down to this; I believe the West goes thru Calgary and for Hamilton; the Alouettes. Both the Ti-Cats and the Eskies have won 2 each over their rivals, but it’s the East/West Final game that is going to matter. But thus if it comes down to it; must get thru the Semi-Final first. The next four games for that matter will tell a lot I say.
I miss my ol' boyhood team, yet eagerly cheer for their demise this Friday. T's true, the TiCats need to go global warming on the Eskimos this weekend to set up a playoff run.
