I thought Schiavone did okay with the Esks after Prefontaine was traded - at least well enough to Medlock off the roster. If this is a move to just bring in competition for Schiavone it would seem better to bring in another NI instead of an import. I don't really understand this signing either but then as a Bomber fan our experience with Sakoda wasn't the best.
Seems like an odd move. Sakoda sure seems to hit highs and lows
