We gotta get some local blackouts until crowds get into the 20-22K range. I'm thinking it'll probably happen next year. This year is a write off for the Gliebermans anyway. They knew that the terrible off-season was going to have a really negative effect on Ottawa fans. And I can't say I blame the fans all that much. With rumblings that the team might not even play this season, I know I wasn't in a hurry to send in my season ticket renewal.
Sucks that all 9 home games are televised, but only 6 road games. Oh well. Maybe next year we'll get a decent sked.
I sure wasn't too impressed with the Eskimos on Thursday. If they're supposed to be the class of the league, I like the 'Gades chances at making the playoffs this year. Too bad we missed those early field goals. The game might've had a totally different look in the 4th quarter.
Like I said earlier, the Esks look fantastic so far this year, except when it comes to protecting a lead. Then they look pretty average.
