Hamilton should've signed Tilman before the RRs did. That took some balls to can Roy Shivers after a big win. Knowing that he was on borrowed time anyway, they went after Tilman realizing that he'd be hired by Ottawa if they got a franchise for 2007. Hamilton needs to show the same kind of organizational strength and courage even if it means hurting the egos and images of local icons.
Hamilton also lost out of Taafe who would've been a good choice. He's gone back to U.S. college ball. He knows the CFL, is still well connected, is still hungry and is relatively young. This season is toast. The team may as well get a head start on 2007 and make the necessary changes now.
