Never really liked the cannon. Logo is cool but probably rejected in favour of more advertising. How about the real tiger?
I for one would like to see a rowdy and out of control TC back. :thup:

Also, does anyone know if it's league policy that the uprights have to be yellow?

Wow.. funny how many times this comes up.

The turf at Ivor Wynne cannot be painted.. any design has to be switched into the turf as its own piece.

The riders used to be white before the Grey Cup came to town and they put in the temporary seating which made it impossible to see them, so in short I don't think its mandatory, just preferred by the league.
How about putting Subway back on the pads of the uprights? We were killer with that! lol

As much as I'd love to see the NEW logo in the endzones, it matters because it would probably cose a fair bit to have those pieces created and placed.

Funny how there's always money to put new ads on the field, but no money to put logos on the field. I hate it. Get some logos back on the field. You can't even tell it's the Ti-Cats field anymore. We used to have yellow numbers with black outlines, we used to have leaping tiger logos, but now, not one. Only annoying ads. Every year, more ads. But still no logos. Shame on you Bob Young.

Well that's probably because it's included in the money given to the team. Hence the term advertising dollars.

I have said this many times but I bet the biggest issue is because Ivor Wynne is used for a lot of TV and Movie shoots and with no logos it can become anywhere they want it to be.

Get yourself a copy of Madden 2004. I have a Cat logo in the endzones. It partially takes the pain away. :wink: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

I dont believe the local Sea Cadets are still firing the naval gun that was used at games in the '90s. ( I believe they ran out of ammunition during Matt Dunnigan's short stay)

Maybe we can ask the 11th Field Battery to bring in one of their 105's for touchdown celebrations.

Or fireworks would suffice ...

Hmmm bring back the real live Tiger minus the cage. We could smear pork chops or steak on Argo fans and let the cat roam free in the stands.

The old turf had big old endzone logos and they still shot movies and commercials here. You know how they got around that? Editing. It's not hard. What do you think the movies do with the ads on the field? They edit them out.

Get the logos back on the field!
