The Ti-Cats just signed 2 defensive linemen from the AFL, who were reported to be reluctant to come to the CFL in the past.
While I have generally considered these leagues to have players with slightly less talent, I suspect there are going to be a lot of import players available from both of these leagues this year, as those who didn't want to play in Canada may have no other football options available to them.
OB sounded pretty high on the two players he signed. I just hope that we are able to take advantage of potential available players and other weak teams (like the Argos) do not do a better job recruiting the talent from these leagues.
I'm not sure how others feel, but I suspect we will see a number of strong 1st year CFL players this year who come out of these leagues. Let's just hope we get our fair share, and are not left behind.
