Three-time CFL West Division All-Star Emmanuel Arceneaux officially announced his retirement on Tuesday, putting an end to one of the more storied careers in recent CFL memory.
Well, his name will be in the record books for a long time for consecutive games played where he caught a pass. I think the streak started while his last OC was throwing him the ball.
Thanks for all the countless highlight reel plays and catches Manny. You had a stellar HOF career, enjoy your well deserved retirement after a brilliant 14 year career. Would of like to see you reach the 10K MILESTONE !
I’ve been watching the CFL since 1956 and Manny is in my top 5 receivers over that time. He is also a true gentleman that represents the CFL to the highest standards. I hope the mentoring of young athletes continues as I was more than impressed with your work out in the community, last year. Best of luck in whatever endeavors you pursue
Congratulations on your retirement, Manny! You are a player who always played with class, good sportsmanship and unbelievable talent! A true professional! Thank you for everything you contributed to making the CFL such an exciting league! I wish you the best of success in all of your future plans! Thank you!
