The schedule is wacky. A long layoff for the Elks, then they play at home. More sensible for Elks to travel to Ottawa. Elks next 3 games are battle for the basement against Ottawa then Hammer. I am mostly interested in the attendance.

It is hard to tell but the pregame sales look the best that they have looked compared to the other games that the Elks have played at home this season.

Amazing football plays take place in every game so far. I am trying not get my expectations up at any given point in a game - less than 60 seconds later the other team starts heading down the highway with who knows what is about to happen next.

Should be a beautiful evening for football. 23 C, had showers this morning and pop up showers north and east of us this afternoon, wind right now is 16 to 28 km/h out of the Northwest and is expected to be “light” by game time.
IF the wind stays where it is @BetweenTheGoalposts, look for the north end to be the tricky end for kickers and punt returners. Don’t trust the flags on the north (video screen) end tonight…

I was thinking the same thing- but MBT slinging it inaccurately down the field is not a promising way to start, especially after the nice drive that the OTTRBs put together for the FG.

On the other hand, MBT struggles out of the gate. Missed a wide open Mayala for what would likely have been at least a 20 yard gain.
