EDMONTON — As fans anticipate a return to the Green and Gold’s winning ways on the field, fans of the Edmonton Elks will recognize a familiar look this season.
A gradual phaseout of Elks? I like it. I would say “Go Eskies”, but I’m a Lions fan

Not sure about going back to the previous name (dare not saying for fear of being cancelled) but it seems like it’s going that direction.
Most likely waiting for Washington and Cleveland before deciding.

Agreed. The Elk Horn logos looked silly. Much rather have clean and simple on jerseys, and stick with the traditional Green and Gold.
Like the shoulder numbers too.. You can tell who’s who even in a pile.
Clean simple design somehow always looks better.
I don’t think they should have changed to Elks, but now that they have, I don’t think they should change it back to Eskimos. There’s going to be far more noise made about changing it back.
(I’ve always been in the mindset of “how people say it” more than “what they say”.)
A team with no name I guess. All other CFL teams have their team name (or LOGO) on their Jerseys , but not the EDMONTON NO NAMES ! Didn’t help their game against BC though.
