CALGARY – The Battle of Alberta continued the Thanksgiving Weekend presented by Purolator action, and it was the Edmonton Elks who got to sweep the season series with a 23-18 win over the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday afternoon.
So based on that headline my question would be… who DIDN’T sweep their season series over the Stampeders?

Really? I did not expect to hear that the recently humbled Lions had failed to thrash the lowly Stampeders two out of three times this season. Huh. Well I have learned something today and it looks like I learned it in the nick of time (just before bed).
Now I must turn out the lights and hang upside down from the chandelier until morning. Good night fellow CFL forum citizens. 
Traditionally “sweep” would mean 3-0. If this generation has come up with a 2-1 exception then I apologize for being behind the times. It wouldn’t surprise me given the trend towards participation ribbons etc.
I salute your ability to blend in with the young folks. I have to think your beaver-like appearance made the animal onesie popular as well
