EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks have released American quarterback Taylor Cornelius and National linebacker Adam Konar, the club announced Tuesday.
No surprises here. Konar was due a bonus on the 15th. They have a lot of CDN LB’s & picked Brodrique 2nd overall last year.
Sometimes the player ask to be released so can tryou in nfl so do not over estimate konar want to do cos he want better pay then cfl can give
Neither one of these guys will be unemployed for long. Maybe Mtl should look at Cornelius.
Montreal would be a good landing spot for Konar especially being Canadian. The Als have just signed 3 American linebackers so your number 4 would have to be Canadian. Cornelius could fit in nicely as a # 2 guy with lots of upside for a team with an aging QB
