TORONTO — The Edmonton Elks and Winnipeg Blue Bombers have submitted their injury reports ahead of their meeting on Thursday night at Commonwealth Stadium.
No questionables this week, oh the silence is blue and golden.

So…guys coming back from injury that show limited are out. But Elks get Gainey and Manny back this week from the look of things. Woodly should be back as well but for the most part he plays teams.
I’m thinking that your Elks will up their game this week Squishy. They might just win… oh who am I kidding here? They’re gonna lose but maybe they’ll do just enough on offense to give that dwindling home crowd some hope. We’d all like to see Tre Ford turn into Warren Moon and bring some respect back to pro football in Edmonton.
Elks getting Gainey and Manny back is not anything to strike up a band about. Manny is old and slow and actually done, stick a fork in him. Gainey is an average DB and getting a little long on the tooth. I wouldnt be bragging about these 2.

Besides which, Gainey is long in the tooth for sure, and a crafty HB who can keep guys on his side of the field from missing assignments or cover up when they do.
Manny - while older is not a speedster any more but a big target and a possession receiver who can find the holes in a defence as well as he ever could.
I didn’t think it was bragging, and anytime a team can get vets back for a game its a good thing.
