Elimimian Wins 2014 CFL MOP and Defensive MOP

While he'd rather be playing on Sunday, Solomon Elimimian has made history as the first defensive player to win the CFL's Most Outstanding Player award. The BC middle linebacker also won the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player award, completely deserved in the year of the defence. Elimimian had a record-setting 143 defensive tackles, to go along with five sacks, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and an interception. What a year. Great job Solly!

Incredible feat for what was a disaster of a year for the Lions.

So very true. It also goes to show fans that even with Elimimian the Lions could not stop the Als from racking up 50 points in the Eastern Semi-Final.
