TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced that one player has been suspended and seven others have been fined following Division Semi-Finals action.
Only thing missing is blame placed on Toronto for the misdeeds of ticat players
So Antwi not suspended for coming off the bench to fight? Of course not, because he has an important game to play this week. Typical CFL bush league.

attempt to limit Al’s playoff run. Chris Edwards should be suspended indefinitely.

I’ve always been thankful that, as an Argos fan, Chris Edwards is no longer on the team. There are dirty players in the league, but Edwards is a real liabilty.
Has one of them asshats is a Rider uniform recently too.
I wonder if any team will pick up Edwards. He’s a Free Agent and I think Hamilton has had enough of him. My thinking is, like Garret Marino, we won’t see him again in the League.
Again CFL not enforcing on an equal basis. Edwards OK but if you come off the bench to engage in an altercation, no fine but a suspension one or two games. Cuts deeper
into their salary and punishes for the consequences of one’s actions. Also for allowing players to go onto the field teams should be fined, not a small pittance but something substantial to show they mean business not a slap on the wrist.
Edwards punched a player twice. after throwing him to the ground…hardly the same as running onto the field,4 Ham players and 2 alouettes were given the same punishment…hardly not enforcing on an equal basic
watch the replay, Harty instigated by pulling Edwards’ face mask. Edwards retaliated. Antwi was first off bench and initiated first contact.

Facemasking happens quite often, it does not warrant a punch ,throw to the ground and another punch
Along with 4 other ticats…they were all punished equally so I do not see the point…I do not believe anyone can honestly say who was off the bench first…but what constitutes initiating first contact?
So I guess Edwards’ head got too heavy. You do realize that Harty was penalized 15 yards on the play. Harty was the instigator for the whole fiasco.

Does not say face masking, says rough play but again Face masking happens all the time…it does not warrant a punch a throw down and another punch. Edwards instigated this…he is a sore loser backed by the 6 game suspension in he receives in 2021 for punching an opposing fan after losing the 2020 east final.

When the Als player held out his hand, the hamilton player lunged forward and pushed the Alouette to the ground

Yep, Edwards punching/pushing Austin Mack in the postgame handshake earlier in the season. Stay classy, Edwards.
The only player who got suspended is the guy who threw the first punch. That seems appropriate to me.
Edit: Also, Micah Awe hasn’t been suspended or ejected once this season for his helmet-to-helmet antics, so you know, maybe we can dial down the outrage.
