The game starts at 7pm MDT / 9pm EST on TSN.

  • 2023 CFL Plays of the Year are being shown on TSN3 and TSN5 about 30 minutes before the game starts.

Here are some fun facts from the media notes;

  • All-Time Gm #85: This game will be the 85th in their head-to-head matchups played across 1961 to 2024. Edmonton leads 49 wins to 33 (2 ties) and have won 30 of the 43 games played at home.
  • Recent Montreal 6-game Success - Analytics: The Alouettes 6-gm reg. season run features a few statistical points worth covering: Point differential of +91 (173-82), 23 Forced Turnovers and +18 Ratio, leads of 14+ points in 5 of the 6 games, 5 nonoffensive return-type TDs, and as to the 3rd Quarters of each game … a grand total of just 3 points allowed.
  • McLeod Bethel-Thompson: Threw for 300+ yards (336) and 2 TDs last week - the first Edmonton QB to do that (and we can thank Morley Scott for this insight!) since Taylor Cornelius in November 2021 at Saskatchewan. Macbeth became the 62nd QB to ever start a game at QB for Edmonton.
  • Fajardo is now up to 4,101 passing yards with Montréal and is just 7 away from a spot in the club’s all-time Top 10 Passers list.
  • 9 wins in a row overall: Montréal comes into this game on an overall 9-game win streak - 6 in reg. season plus their 3-game post season 2023 run. They look to repeat a Grey Cup win for the first time since 2009-2010.
  • 100 Games: Edmonton’s David Foucault and Montréal’s Frederic Chagnon each made it to 100 career games last week.

I’ll be working but should be able to put the game on in the background. Enjoy it everyone!

Thunderstorms rolling through now. Looks clear behind them though. Don’t think its warm enough to generate more storms.

There is hardly anybody/fans in the stands. Must be in the wigwam somewhere

Huge sack by Sankey forces a third down. Julien out to punt.

LS Luke Burton-Krahn makes the tackle.

With that said, I will be at/inside BC Place tomorrow to watch the 50 Cent concert and then the Lions vs Calgary. Huge crowd expected.

Well that drive looked pretty easy.

I hope we see a competetive game. At least somewhat.

They should probably keep drinking.

If the halfbacks, db’s, and safety keep this up…yup…at least it would look like we are losing to 24 guys instead of 12…

Elks are moving the ball though…

I forgot how fun it was to watch MBT throw the football. Love him in the CFL.
