It’s not a horse collar as he didn’t grab him from behind and pull him down, but I thought it was a penalty. There’s one on the books called unnecessary roughness and if that wasn’t textbook UR I don’t know what is. Not a clean tackle. Imagine if everyone tackled like that on every play. There wouldn’t be enough players left to finish the game.

I wonder what happens now. I’ve never seen the ambulance be brought out in the CFL like that. I assume they’re treating it as a suspected C-Spine injury, which is why they were stabilizing the neck + putting him on a board.
