I think Schiltz needs to prove himself more than Ford does. If he doesn’t do well tomorrow that’s not a good look for when it comes time for his free agency.

I’m not sure why I thought this gamewas being played in Edmonton, but I’m pretty sure I picked them to win. Schiltz is okay - helped out in Hamilton a bit last year - but he’s not going to be more than a back up. Ford - I’m sure - feels that h has something to prove- to Edmonton if he wants to stay there, or to other teams in the league if he’s looking to move to another team that will give him an opportunity to be a starter. I think that overall, Elks are the better team when they’re on their game.
Nice play there by Lewis to pick up the first TD of the game and take the lead.

Brown’s on the practice roster…He hates running when MBT is playing because he has to fight for every yard. Example - when Hamilton beat us at home, his average per run more than tripled when Ford got in the game. His longest run to that point was 3 yards.
First play with Ford in - 12 yards.
I’m betting he pissed off JJ at some point because he was healthy going into last game in Regina and this week hes on the practice roster…

But thats why the Elks lost so many games…MBT to either Gittens or Mayala, so cover those two and you stop the Elks offence like the riders did much of last game…

I was just going to say that it seems like Fords rushing ability hasn’t been getting used how it should be.
