Looks like Riders qb Cody Fajaro is headed to the Als,,not sure whats going to happen to Dane Evans of the Cats,,
I wouldn't be shocked if he (Dane Evans) ends up signing with the Als, too. Could be a strong training-camp competition.
I keep having this nightmare where Dane signs for the Argos
And haunting us
Best of luck Cody...too bad you're going to another shite team and your detractors will blame the shortcomings of the GM on you
Will anybody sign dane?
if your going to post new threads with claims about signing that haven’t already been formally at least make the thread title more detailed and provide a source please.
Never liked the guy. But hope he does well.
Fajardo would be a better fit than Trevor Harris.
Not necessarily. Maas' offense is generally tailor-made for a QB like Harris. I thought Maas' scheme and Fajardo's skillset matched poorly.
Didn’t Maas and Fajardo just fail in Sask? Why/how would anyone get excited about this upcoming season?
….would hate to be a commission based season ticket agent for ALS right about now. This off season has been an absolute disaster and will show in the stands this coming season I’m afraid.
done
Maas was also OC of Fajardo in 2021. In Montreal he should have a better offensive line than what he had with Sask in 2022. His mobility is way better than the one of Harris with the same arm strengh. Keeping Harris would only have served as a transition to Davis Alexander.
I agree the Als have a better OLine and if the big guy in the backfield stays healthy Cody could look like a different player using some play action. DM will have to find a few WR's from the left overs, but there is still some talent out there IMO. Just hope they can get the ownership problem straightened away.
Fajardo and Evans in a Twin quarterback system ?
Sounds good to me.
Agreed. Harris is a ball control guy, but also a sack- magnet. He might be in trouble in Sask.
Dane seems to be better suited in a 2 QB System. Worked well with Masoli in Hamilton
