The goal needs to be to not simply be satisfied with an 8 or 9 win season . The bar has been set too low in Hamilton for years now . It is time to raise it up more than a few notches above mere mediocrity and keep it there for as long as possible.

Every season the goal is winning the Grey Cup - period.
To GET to the big game, you have to make the playoffs.
Hamilton can not get to the playoffs with the Defence as it now stands.

Beating the Argos has been the only realistic goal.
This season = 7 - 11 = 3 W’s vs Toronto and a 4 - 11 record against the rest of the league . Enough said . But , but , but we did beat them Anchors 3 times so at least we have that

He’s done ok drafting in the mid to later rounds but hasn’t hit too many first and second rounders out of the park - only guys that really stand out are Rev, Woodmansey and maybe Kalinic. It would make sense for the team to make a fresh start. At the same time, Allemang has survived quite a few different GMs and management regimes. I’m more interested to see if Steinauer leaves by the end of the year. A three year contract that would have been signed in late 2021 early 2022 would have made sense with his new title. Help in the GM search then move on in 2025. Organization could free up a lot of football ops cap money

Agree with happy sentiment of Zimmerman being gone. I do agree with the wish he took Allemang with him as well
