Why doesn"t the CFL start season in early June rather than late June/ early July?
Is the league worried about competing for TV audience with NHL? I believe that audience competition exists more with NFL so 1 less month of this would benefit CFL. So mid-May exhibition games and early June season start! What do forum members think?

Only NFL game I regularly watch is the Super Bowl, maybe a couple of playoffs.
Football for me ends with the Grey Cup. Don't know if I'd be happy with the Cup being held at the end of October? Better weather I guess?
According to the CFL schedule there are only THREE CFL games this season that are Sunday that go up against the NFL, one Rider game and two Als games. Therefore no NFL competition for the TV audience
